Location
Agropensiunea Bella sits 52 km out from Timișoara, in Tomnatic. This is out on the county plain. A car is close to essential, and the centre of Timișoara is a drive rather than a ride.
The quarter around it is covered on the Sânnicolau Mare page, which sets out what it costs, how you get in and out, and what is against it.
The facilities, in detail
The supplier record lists 15 facilities. Parking appears in the listing, which matters inside the ring where metered space is short. Air conditioning is listed — worth confirming for July and August, when the city sits around 30°C. There is a kitchen or a fridge in the record, so a long stay need not eat out every night.
Facility lists in this catalogue are supplied by the property and are not checked by us. Anything that decides your booking — a lift, a cot, parking, a late arrival — is worth confirming directly before you pay.
What the property offers
The supplier record lists 15 facilities. Grouped, they read like this; the wording is the catalogue's, not ours.
For families: cot.
For cooking and eating in: coffee, kitchen, refrigerator.
Arriving and getting around: free car parking, parking.
In the room: air conditioning, balcony, bath, hairdryer, non smoking rooms, shower, tv, towels.
Also listed: wc.
Who it suits
A kitchen on the record makes it a sensible base for a week or more, or for anyone who would rather shop at the market than eat out every night.
Family rooms or a cot are listed, so it is set up for children rather than merely tolerating them.
Parking is on the record, which matters here: the centre is a paid-parking zone and most apartments in the old quarters have none.
A garden or a balcony is listed, worth having in the hot Banat summer.
About Sânnicolau Mare, in brief
You book a bed in Sânnicolau Mare for one reason: you are crossing a border and you do not want to drive another hour. The town sits in the far north-west corner of Timiș county, 65 km from Timișoara, with the Hungarian frontier at Cenad about 20 km north-west and the Serbian crossing at Lunga roughly 30 km south-west. If your day involves the Arad–Szeged road or the back lanes towards Kikinda and you have a morning ferry or a lorry queue ahead of you, a room here removes the 4 a.m. alarm. That is the core clientele.
From Sânnicolau Mare to Timișoara is 65 km on the DN6, a flat, straight road with heavy lorry traffic. By car it takes about an hour in good conditions, ninety minutes at rush hour or when a lorry overturns near Sânandrei. There is no motorway. The road passes through several villages with 50 km/h limits and occasional horse carts, so do not plan on averaging more than 60 km/h. If you are flying out of Timișoara Traian Vuia airport, allow two hours door to door.
The full guide to the quarter, with what it costs and what is against it, is on the Sânnicolau Mare page.
Things to know, from the quarter guide:
Good to know before you book
Cobbles are the usual surprise in the centre: wheeled cases rattle and heels suffer. Most museums close on Monday. Terraces take cards; the markets and the bakeries prefer cash.
Coming in by tram is straightforward, but buy the ticket in the app or at the kiosk before you board — you cannot pay the driver.
Where our data comes from
This page is built from the booking catalogue, not from a visit. The name, the star rating, the address, the coordinates and the facility list are the supplier's own record for hotel 16919012; the distances are measured from those coordinates to Piața Unirii. Nobody pays to appear here and there is no commission ranking.
What we have written ourselves — the quarters, the guides, the things to do — is on the rest of the site, and it is written from the ground. This page is a catalogue entry, and says so.
